Bylaws

Name of the Trust: The name of the Trust shall be DB Foundations Public Charitable and Educational Trust.

Registered Office: The Registered Office of the Trust shall be situated at such place as decided by the Board of Trustees and may be shifted by passing a resolution, subject to applicable laws.

Nature of the Trust: The Trust is a Public Charitable and Educational Trust established for lawful charitable purposes and shall function strictly on a non-profit and non-political basis. The Trust shall not engage in any activity that is unlawful or contrary to public policy.
No portion of the income or property of the Trust shall be distributed among the Trustees or members except towards legitimate administrative expenses.
A. Main Objective – Education for Poor Students
To provide free or subsidized education to economically weaker and underprivileged students.
To provide scholarships, financial assistance, books, uniforms, laptops, school bags, and study materials.
To sponsor tuition fees, hostel fees, exam fees, and higher education expenses.
To establish and run schools, colleges, coaching centres, training institutes, libraries and digital learning centres.
To provide skill development, vocational training, and competitive exam coaching.
B. Additional Charitable Objectives
To promote literacy, digital education and career guidance.
To conduct educational awareness camps in rural and urban areas.
To support differently-abled and marginalized students.
To collaborate with Government bodies, NGOs, CSR institutions and educational organizations.
To undertake any other lawful charitable activities incidental to the above objectives.

To create an equitable society where every child, irrespective of financial background, has access to quality education and equal opportunity for growth.

To eliminate educational inequality.
To empower economically weaker students through structured support.
To promote value-based and skill-based education.
To build a sustainable education support system across India.
Goals
Sponsor at least 100 underprivileged students annually.
Establish educational support centres in rural and backward regions.
Create scholarship funds and endowment programs.
Develop digital learning infrastructure.
Achieve long-term sustainability through transparent governance and lawful compliance.
Legal Compliance & Governance
The Trust shall operate in accordance with applicable laws including:
Indian Trusts Act, 1882
Income Tax Act, 1961
Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010 (if foreign funds are received)
The Trust shall apply for:
Registration under Section 12AB and approval under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

80G Certification (Donor Tax Benefit)
CSR Eligibility Registration (if applicable)
Proper books of accounts shall be maintained and audited annually.
The Trust shall not engage in any activity for personal profit of Trustees.
All funds shall be utilized strictly for the charitable objectives.
Dissolution of the Trust, if any, shall be done in accordance with law and remaining assets shall be transferred to another Trust having similar objectives.
